Wind turbines
Wind turbines are rotating machines that convert the kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy. They consist of a turbine hall, a tower and rotors that turn when the wind hits them. The rotors are connected to a generator that produces electrical energy that is fed into the power grid. Wind turbines are often installed in wind farms to achieve greater electricity production. They are an important form of renewable energy and help reduce CO2 emissions.
