Hydrogen storage
A hydrogen storage tank is a storage system for hydrogen that is often used in conjunction with fuel cell systems. Hydrogen is stored in a storage tank under high pressure and withdrawn as needed. Hydrogen is then consumed in a fuel cell to generate electrical energy. Hydrogen storage is an important component of a hydrogen economy and helps reduce CO2 emissions by providing an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuels.
